WidEnergy Africa has secured funding from OPES-LCEF. Based in Zambia, WidEnergy was one of two African companies to receive funding through OPES-LCEF’s Restart East Africa vehicle to address female underrepresentation in the renewable energy sector. WidEnergy works with predominantly women sales agents, bringing access to affordable energy and jobs for women to rural Africa.
