3IF Ventures has made its first investment, backing embedded insurance platform Turaco through the Inclusive Insurance Investment Fund.
Turaco operates in six African markets and Pakistan.
Turaco provides insurance products through partnerships with companies including ASA International, M-KOPA and Safaricom.
3IF Ventures is an Africa-focused venture capital firm investing in technology-enabled insurance businesses from pre-seed to Series B. The fund reached a $12 million first close in June 2026, anchored by FSD Africa Investments and ZEP-RE, and is targeting a $30 million final close.
