The AfricInvest Small Cap Fund has made a minority equity investment in Spoon Consulting, a Mauritius-based AI and digital transformation consultancy.
Spoon Consulting has delivery hubs in Mauritius and Madagascar, and has expanded through a new subsidiary in Kenya.
“Spoon Consulting is well-positioned for growth, with a focus on three priorities: scaling its AI capabilities to deliver higher-value services, expanding into African markets and strengthening institutional governance. AfricInvest will support this expansion through strategic guidance and hands-on value creation as well as access to its pan-African network, enabling Spoon to capture the accelerating digital transformation opportunities across Africa,” AfricInvest said in a statement.
The AfricInvest Small Cap Fund is an AfricInvest vehicle dedicated to growth-stage small-cap companies across Africa and adjacent markets.
