Algebra Ventures announced the promotion of Laila Hassan and Omar Khashaba to managing partners.
Hassan and Khashaba joined Algebra Ventures in 2021 to help launch the firm’s second $100 million fund, expanding the partnership into a four partner platform alongside Tarek Assaad and Karim Hussein.
“Since joining, both have played an instrumental role in shaping the firm’s strategy, strengthening its institutional foundation, and supporting its expansion across Egypt and broader African markets,” Algebra said in a statement.
