Amethis appoints new partner

Amethis, a part of the Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity Partnership, has announced the elevation of Romain Gauvrit to partner status.

Gauvrit launched his career at Qualium, later transitioning to Bpifrance where he held the position of investment director from 2014. He was responsible for overseeing several portfolio investments, successfully executing 17 equity investments that included Labelys, Laborizon, Platinium, Rougnon, and Carizona, each of which demonstrated strong performance.

Gauvrit joined Amethis in September 2021 as a director, tasked with facilitating the fundraising for the Amethis Europe Expansion (AEE) fund, which has recently completed its initial closing.

The AEE fund, focused on internationalisation and social impact, is designed to expedite the growth and profitability of European SMEs through the expansion of their exports, their domestic establishments, or their supply chains in the world’s most dynamic economies, with a particular emphasis on Africa.
