British International Investment, the UK’s development finance institution, has agreed to sell its shares in East African banking and insurance company I&M Group to funds managed by AfricInvest.
The proposed transaction, which is still subject to regulatory approvals, amounts to about 10.13% of I&M Group’s issued share capital.
