Congo: Noki Noki raises $3m in seed funding
Logistics and delivery startup secures $3 million, led by Uma Ventures.
Noki Noki, a logistics and proximity delivery startup based in the Republic of Congo, has secured $3 million in funding, three years after its inception. The funding round was led by Uma Ventures.
The startup has validated its business model in under three years, achieving a transaction flow of nearly 1 billion CFA francs in 2023 ($1.67 million). The company has expanded beyond Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire to cities like Dakar, Abidjan, and Libreville.
Noki Noki has has deployed several solutions to meet the growing demand for reliable and accessible logistics solutions in Africa. These include Noki Food for meal delivery, Noki Drive for shopping in supermarkets, Noki Express, and Noki Pay, an integrated payment interface.
Jonathan Yanghat, founder and CEO of Noki Noki, said: “I founded Noki Noki in 2021, driven by a deep belief in the power of African innovation, particularly that of Congo-Brazzaville. We started the adventure with a few motorcycles and a clear ambition: to revolutionise delivery and e-commerce on the continent. This funding round brings us closer to our goal of becoming a reference in proximity delivery in Africa.”
