Saviu Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on Francophone Africa, has sold its majority stake in Kamtar, a digital logistics platform based in Côte d’Ivoire, to Logidoo Group, a pan-African logistics company.
Founded in 2018, Kamtar connects Ivorian industrial companies with a network of independent truck drivers through a digital platform that optimises freight transport and logistics management. Since its inception, the startup has worked with over 40 corporate clients across the industrial, construction, agri-food, and logistics sectors, achieving a cumulative turnover exceeding €17 million.
Saviu Ventures was an early investor in Kamtar, supporting the company’s operational expansion and market positioning.
Benoît Delestre, managing partner at Saviu Ventures, said: “ Kamtar is a prime example of how African entrepreneurs are addressing complex logistics challenges through technology. Since our first investment, we have supported the team in business development, governance, and fundraising. We are pleased to see Kamtar enter a new phase of growth alongside Logidoo.”
Tamsir Ousmane Traoré, founder and CEO of Logidoo, commented: “ Integrating Kamtar into our ecosystem allows us to consolidate strategic trade corridors from Morocco to Abidjan and offer our clients reliable, competitive, and efficient road transport solutions. This is a key step in our mission to connect African markets and facilitate trade across the continent.”
