Dealmaker's Log | Adiwale drilling services deal; Kleoss first close; Enko exit
The January issue of our Dealmaker’s Log highlights a strong start to the year for African venture capital and private equity transaction activity. Adiwale Partners acquired a minority stake in IDC, a West African drilling services company; South Africa’s Kleoss Capital reached a first close for its Fund II at about $39.2 million; and Enko Capital Managers exited its investment in Law Union Rock Insurance, a Nigerian mid-size general insurance company.
