Egypt: Gameball raises $3.5m from P1 Ventures, Launch Africa, others
Egypt-based Gameball, a customer intelligence and marketing CRM platform for consumer brands, has raised a $3.5 million seed round to support its international expansion. The funding round was joined by a diverse group of global investors, including 500 Global, P1 Ventures, Launch Africa, Seedra Ventures, Arzan Ventures, Propeller and Core Vision.
Gameball provides businesses with a comprehensive marketing solution, enabling them to have a 360-degree view of their customer interactions and journeys. The platform includes analytics and segmentation, incentive and loyalty management, and cross-channel messaging, helping drive customer conversion and personalised engagement.
Since its launch in 2020 by Egyptian entrepreneurs Ahmed Khairy, Ahmed El Assy and Omar Alfar, Gameball has served over 7,000 businesses, reached 20 million consumers, and processed over $260 million in transactions each month.
