EIB considering investment in Meridiam Africa infrastructure fund
The European Investment Bank (EIB) is considering an investment of €75 million in Meridiam Infrastructure Africa Fund II (MIAF II) managed by Meridiam, an asset manager focusing on infrastructure.
MIAF II is an equity fund targeting mainly greenfield sustainable infrastructure projects in the mobility, energy transition, environment, social infrastructure, telecom and circular economy sectors across Africa.
The fund has a target size of €750 million.
