Eos Capital’s Allegrow Fund has exited its investment in The Mushara Collection subject to various regulatory approvals. Mushara is a collection of private accommodation lodges near Etosha National Park in Namibia.
Allegrow’s investment in Mushara was executed as part of Eos Capital’s strategy to support the revival of Namibia’s tourism sector in line with the government’s stated objectives for the industry.
The Mushara investment achieved a 40% IRR and will return 4.4x invested capital to investors.
“This exit represents the largest transaction recorded in Namibia’s unlisted private equity market to date. It reaffirms the position Eos Capital has built over the years as a fund manager capable of delivering strong, risk-adjusted returns for our investors. We remain committed to identifying and growing high quality Namibian assets, and to being the partner of choice for investors seeking sustainable, long-term value creation,” said Elzine Mushambi, managing director of Eos Capital.
