Establishment of a UK-Mauritius Strategic Trade Partnership

Mauritius will enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UK for the development of a UK-Mauritius Strategic Trade Partnership which will be a government-to-government initiative.

The MoU will aim at establishing a joint, high-level confidential forum on which trade, investment, expertise transfer and commercial discussions would take place.

The objectives include: enhancing cooperation between Mauritius and the UK and establishing a practical framework for cooperation in areas of investment, trade in goods and trade in services.
