The European Investment Bank has disclosed a proposed €15 million commitment to the IPAE III fund, managed by Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P).
The fund, targeting €70 million, will focus on West Africa – including Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger – as well as Madagascar. It aims to provide equity and quasi-equity financing to high-growth small and medium-sized enterprises in sub-Saharan Africa's frontier markets, where private equity activity is limited.
