The European Investment Bank (EIB) has disclosed a proposed $50 million co-investment into the Catalyst MENA Climate Fund 2, a private equity fund supporting renewable energy and climate infrastructure in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The fund, managed by Catalyst Investment Management, will predominantly target greenfield infrastructure investments in renewable energy and water treatment, promoting climate action and environmental sustainability in the region.
The target size for the fund is $150 million.
