European LP proposes investment in Mediterrania Capital fund
The European Investment Bank (EIB) is proposing an equity investment of up to €15 million in Mediterrania Capital IV, a generalist private equity fund targeting growth capital investments predominantly in small and medium-sized private companies located in North Africa.
The fund, managed by Mediterrania Capital Partners, is the successor fund of Mediterrania Capital III, in which the EIB invested in 2017.
Mediterrania Capital IV has a target size of €350 million.
