FinDev Canada considering investment in West African forestry company
Canadian development finance institution FinDev Canada is considering an up to US$6 million preferred equity investment in Miro Forestry, a commercial plantation forestry business with operations in Ghana and Sierra Leone.
The funding will go towards the development and expansion of Miro’s industrial wood processing factories in Ghana and Sierra Leone, as well as to continue the development and management of its forestry plantations.
