Former Wendel Africa CEO joins SPE Capital
Private equity firm SPE Capital has announced that Stéphane Heuzé has joined the firm as a managing partner, to be based out of the Casablanca office. He will contribute to developing the business further and strengthening the firm’s activities in Morocco and across Africa.
Heuzé brings two decades of experience in investment management and strategy consulting. Prior to joining SPE Capital, he was CEO of Wendel Africa in Casablanca, where he spent six years covering the African market and was exposed to several pivotal sectors across the continent. Heuzé began his career with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Paris. After completing an MBA at Harvard Business School, he spent two years with Goldman Sachs in London, within the team responsible for managing the firm’s equity, mezzanine and secondary debt funds. In 2009, Heuzé returned to BCG as a founding member of the Casablanca office, covering Africa.
