South Africa’s Futuregrowth Asset Management has announced the appointment of Vuyolwethu Nogantshi as its incoming CEO, effective July 2025.
Nogantshi will partner with Shaun Harris, the current CEO of Futuregrowth, who will transition into the role of chief investment officer (CIO) following Andrew Canter’s step-down as CIO at the end of October 2025.
Nogantshi, who recently resigned from Absa Bank, brings more than two decades of experience in the financial services sector, with a background in investment management, risk oversight, and client engagement. Nogantshi also held leadership roles at Allan Gray, Nedgroup Investments, and Alexforbes.
“We are excited to welcome Nogantshi to Futuregrowth. His expertise, leadership, and vision make him the ideal person to partner with me as we build on Futuregrowth’s legacy, drive innovation, and deepen our impact on South Africa’s investment landscape,” says Shaun Harris, current CEO of Futuregrowth.
