The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has disclosed a proposed equity investment of up to $6 million in a new fund managed by Flat6Labs, focusing on pre-Seed/Seed stage investments.
The fund is seeking to raise $85 million with a hard-cap of $100 million.
IFC has invested in three of Flat6Lab’s previous funds.
The fund has a primary focus on the North, West, and East Africa regions with a target of 49% of invested capital in Egypt.
