IFC proposes €25m investment in Amethis MENA Fund III
The fund will acquire minority and majority stakes in companies primarily in Morocco and Egypt, with scope for selected investments in Tunisia and Jordan.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has disclosed a proposed investment of up to €25 million in the Amethis MENA Fund III, alongside a €15 million co-investment envelope.
The proposed equity investment would not exceed 20% of the fund’s total committed capital.
Amethis MENA Fund III is targeting €200 million. It plans to acquire minority and majority stakes in companies primarily in Morocco and Egypt, with scope for selected investments in Tunisia and Jordan.
The fund will target companies operating in business services, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, infrastructure and energy related services, and technology.
Amethis MENA Fund III is a successor to Amethis MENA Fund II, a 2021 vintage fund with €120 million in commitments.
