IFC proposes commitment to African Infrastructure Investment Managers fund
The IFC has disclosed a proposed equity investment of $25 million in the African Transition Acceleration Fund.

The International Finance Corporation has disclosed a proposed equity investment of up to $25 million in the African Transition Acceleration Fund, advised by African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM). The fund will provide early-stage capital to accelerate the development of energy transition businesses and ecosystems in Africa.
The fund focuses on three verticals: clean electrons, clean molecules and sustainable transport.
The fund has a total committed capital target of $200 million, with a hard cap of $250 million. It will make investments in various countries on the African continent.
