The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has disclosed a proposed equity investment of $20 million in Zepz as part of its $267 million Series X equity round.
Founded in 2010, Zepz operates two digital cross-border remittance platforms, Sendwave and WorldRemit, and serves over nine million users.
The round is led by Accel, with participation from TCV and private equity firm Leapfrog.
