Oxano Capital has invested in Sevi, a Dutch-headquartered B2B fintech company operating in Kenya.
Sevi provides stock financing to micro and small retailers through its order-now, pay-later platform. The platform embeds financing into existing supply chains, allowing retailers to order inventory on credit while suppliers receive upfront payment.
This allows small shop owners to stock their shelves when demand arises and repay in flexible instalments as they generate sales, improving cash flow and unlocking sustainable business growth.
Sevi was founded by Walter aan de Wiel and Bartel Verkruijssen.
“We were attracted to Sevi because of its experienced founding team, scalable technology-driven business model, strong traction among both retailers and suppliers, and significant potential to advance financial inclusion and job creation. Through this investment, Oxano Capital aims to support Sevi’s journey toward profitability, continued product innovation, and regional expansion, in line with our mission of investing in businesses that deliver both strong financial returns and lasting social impact,” Oxano said in a statement.
