Mediterrania Capital Partners (MCP), a private equity firm that invests in small and mid-sized companies across Africa, has appointed Maty Ndiaye as partner.
Ndiaye has nearly 20 years of investment experience, including over 16 years in African private equity, with expertise across the investment cycle, from origination and execution to portfolio management and value creation.
Ndiaye joined MCP in 2024 as managing director for West Africa. According to the firm, she has played a key role in expanding its presence in the region, developing proprietary investment opportunities and building relationships with entrepreneurs, business groups and institutional investors.
She led MCP’s €100 million investment in Coris Holding, a West African banking group. She has also worked on other investment opportunities across financial services and other sectors.
In her new role, Ndiaye will continue to lead MCP’s investment activities in West Africa while contributing to the firm’s broader strategy and growth.
