New chief funds operations officer joins Verod from Leapfrog
Verod Capital Management Limited has announced the appointment of Yanish Bondahjagalu as chief funds operations officer for the group.
Bondahjagalu is based in Verod’s Mauritius office and is responsible for operating Verod’s funds in accordance with the relevant fund’s policies and objectives, as well as, regulatory requirements. His responsibilities cover investor servicing, financial reporting, audits, treasury management, tax, compliance and risk management. In addition, Bondahjagalu will support the internal audit function across the group.
Bondahjagalu joined Verod from Leapfrog Investments where he served as chief operating officer (Mauritius) from 2015 to 2020. Prior to his time at Leapfrog Investments, Bondahjagalu spent four years with Omega Global Mauritius Limited (a subsidiary of Milestone Capital Advisors Limited) from 2011 to 2015 in various roles including chief operating officer. He also spent three years as associate executive with International Financial Services Limited, Mauritius from 2007 to 2011.
