Nigeria: Atom Capital leads Creditchek's pre-seed round
Nigeria-based finance and credit data platform Creditchek has raised $240,000 pre-seed funding led by Atom Capital with participation from several other investors.
The funding will enable Creditchek to build the credit data infrastructure to help businesses reliably assess and verify the creditworthiness of their customers.
Kingsley Ibe, CEO of Creditchek said, ”A year ago, we had this idea to bridge the trust gap that exists between lenders and borrowers through reliable data. Lionel and I are grateful to the businesses that endured with us through several iterations, to the investors that were crazy enough to believe that we are the right team to solve this problem and to our awesome team for believing in us and coming aboard to drive the vision at Creditchek.”
