Carrot Credit, a Nigerian fintech that offers loans backed by digital investment assets, has announced a $4.2 million seed funding round to scale its asset-backed lending infrastructure across Africa.
The round was led by MaC Venture Capital, with participation from Authentic Ventures.
"With this new round, we’re doubling down on our goal to make asset-backed credit more accessible across the continent. We’ll be expanding our team, deepening integrations with digital investment platforms to embed Carrot into their ecosystems," the company said in a statement on LinkedIn.
