PE-backed Netis signs deal for majority stake in Netcom Technologies

Netis Group has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Netcom Technologies, a Morocco-based technology integrator specialising in telecoms, IT, security and critical infrastructure solutions.
Netis is a pan-African telecom and energy infrastructure services provider. The group’s shareholders include private equity firms Amethis and AfricInvest, alongside development finance institutions IFC and Proparco.
“This acquisition is a structuring move that anchors our traditional activities in Morocco while expanding our portfolio into new businesses across all our geographies. It strengthens our capabilities and positions us for the next phase of sustainable growth. We are confident and fully committed to accelerating this trajectory,” said Alykhan Kassam, CEO of Netis Group.
The completion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Competition Council.
