PwC Deals supports Infra Impact Investment Managers on its investment in Cape Town Biogas (CTB)
PwC supported Infra Impact with financial due diligence, tax due diligence and indicative valuation services.
By PwC
Infra Impact acquired a minority stake in CTB from Metier Sustainable Capital Fund II, which remains the majority shareholder. CTB is a redeveloped South African organic waste-to-biogas facility that converts organic waste into biomethane, beverage-grade CO2, and premium compost – providing a lower-carbon alternative to LPG while advancing circular economy outcomes.
PwC supported Infra Impact with financial due diligence, tax due diligence and indicative valuation services. Having also supported Infra Impact on a previous investment in the biogas sector, we are delighted to once again support the deployment of capital into sustainable infrastructure that contributes to decarbonisation, resource efficiency, and South Africa’s energy transition. Supporting transactions like this reflects PwC’s purpose of building trust in society and solving important problems.
