SAVCA 2021 Conference goes virtual 2-4 March 2021
Dear SAVCA Members and Friends,
At SAVCA we appreciate how fortunate we were to be able to offer our Private Equity and Venture Capital conferences in February 2020 as planned. It was the last time the industry got together to network in person and we couldn’t have done it without our members, sponsors, speakers and stakeholders.
The level of uncertainty left in the wake of what first started as a health crisis, as a result of the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19, quickly turned into an economic crisis which has negatively impacted many businesses and households.
We also realise going forward we will need to do things differently if we still want to offer our ecosystem an event that is safe and informative, with great networking opportunities. This also speaks to our theme for 2021 which is re:imagine.
The health and safety of our members, sponsors, partners and stakeholders is of great importance to us, and we do not take lightly the risks associated with having an in-person event.
For this reason, we will be offering the SAVCA 2021 Private Equity Conference as a virtual occasion where delegates and sponsors can participate safely on a virtual platform. We are confident that this decision will ensure the safety of all involved. The SAVCA team is busy preparing to host what will still be a stimulating and engaging private equity conference, taking place from 2 – 4 March 2021.
You will notice some exciting announcements that will be made that we feel is linked to this year’s conference theme, re:Imagine. We know you associate the SAVCA conference with relevant CPD accredited content, great speakers and phenomenal networking opportunities and want to ensure that although we move to a fully virtual conference for 2021, we are still able to offer this to you. We therefore invite you to re:Imagine the conference with us!
