SAVCA Industry Awards 2025: Nominate. Nominate. Nominate!
If you haven’t yet nominated, there’s still time.
By SAVCA
We’re thrilled to see the momentum building as submissions have nearly doubled in the past two weeks. We’re inspired by the calibre of entries coming in. If you haven’t yet nominated, there’s still time to shine a spotlight on the individuals and organisations driving impact across the private capital ecosystem. Don’t miss the chance to recognise excellence. Get your nominations in!
Let’s take a closer look at two of this year’s categories, each designed to spotlight the game-changers shaping the future of private capital.
Start-ups/venture capital category
This category celebrates the rising stars of our ecosystem – early-stage companies that are less than five years old, post-revenue, and already making waves. These are the ventures that have moved beyond idea and into impact, backed by early-stage, Series A, or Series B funding. While enterprise value isn’t the focus, traction, innovation, and the potential to scale are. If you know a company that’s setting new standards, challenging the status quo, and showing what’s possible in the early stages of growth – now is the time to nominate them.
Small companies category
This category recognises high-performing businesses that are delivering real and sustainable results. With an enterprise value and revenue under R200 million, these companies may not be headline giants yet, but they are proving their strength through solid fundamentals and positive operating cash flows. Funding stage is not a barrier – what matters is commercial viability, resilience, and the ability to execute. If you know a business that’s quietly outperforming and building lasting value, nominate them now and help us celebrate success where it truly counts.
