Adansonia Fund Manager has announced the second close of its Adansonia Tech Fund that seeks to take advantage of investment opportunities in technology companies, predominantly in Africa.
”Despite the tough capital raising environment, this milestone demonstrates the unwavering faith and support from our investors, as we continue to focus on harnessing ground breaking tech opportunities across Africa, specifically focussed on post-seed and series A raises,” commented Brendon Jones, director at Adansonia.
”A year into our journey and not only are we zealously scouting the African landscape for the next big tech innovation to complement our existing portfolio (pawaTech, Synatic, Jigx), but we’ve also achieved a significant landmark – returning capital to our investors in our very first year of investment.”
