Seema Lalloo joins private equity fund Secha Capital
Secha Capital has appointed Seema Lalloo as a private equity fellow. A corporate lawyer by training, Lalloo previously worked at Bain & Company and ENSAfrica. She has an MBA from INSEAD and an LLB from the University of Cape Town.
Secha Capital, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, provides patient capital to established Southern African SMEs in the ”missing middle”. The firm focuses on established companies in the FMCG, agribusiness, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.
Lalloo will focus on building out Secha’s new Fund II expanded sector and geographic SME investment opportunities in the healthcare and agribusiness sectors in Southern Africa. She will eventually join a Secha investee company as the chief operating officer.
