VEA Capital Partners, the private investment arm of South Africa’s VEA Group, has invested in StraTech, a fintech firm that develops enterprise infrastructure for payments, reconciliation and treasury systems across African industries.
“They’re not building for the hype cycle. They’re building the rails the future will run on,” said Zander de Witt, co-founder and managing director of VEA Capital Partners.
StraTech will use the investment to extend its platform into additional industries and regions in Southern Africa, strengthen its compliance and treasury tools, and hire staff in engineering, operations and commercial roles.
