Tanzania: Tridos in microfinance deal

Triodos Investment Management, through its Triodos Microfinance Fund and Triodos Fair Share Fund, has provided a $5 million loan to ASA Microfinance Tanzania, a microfinance institution supporting low-income entrepreneurs.
ASA Microfinance Tanzania is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ASA International Group, one of the world’s largest international microfinance networks and active in thirteen countries in Asia and Africa.
As of June 2025, the company served more than 300,000 active borrowers across more than 200 branches.
