We’re thrilled to reveal the powerhouse talent shaping the stage at the SAVCA PE Conference 2026, and yes, she’s back by popular demand. After delivering a stellar performance last year, Nozipho Tshabalala returns as MC, guiding two days of insight, inspiration and high-impact conversation.
Alongside her, we’re bringing world-class thinking and motivation to the programme with two exceptional keynote speakers who set the tone for growth, resilience and leadership in Africa’s private capital ecosystem.
Few can command a room like Nozipho Tshabalala. As CEO of The Conversation Strategists and a globally respected moderator, Nozipho has facilitated high-level discussions for organisations such as the World Bank and United Nations, as well as leading African institutions. With a background spanning economics, politics, development and journalism (CNBC Africa), she brings clarity, gravitas and energy to every stage she leads. A former contributor within The Presidency of South Africa and recognised as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Young Africans, Nozipho is the perfect conductor for the conversations that matter most at the SAVCA PE Conference 2026.
Kicking off the conference is renowned political economist and “pracademic” Ronak Gopaldas – one of Africa’s sharpest interpreters of the forces shaping business, geopolitics and investment. A familiar face on CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and CNBC Africa, Ronak is known for translating complex global trends into practical, strategic insight for decision-makers. A former TED speaker, Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics, and Global South African Brand Ambassador (2024), Ronak’s opening keynote will challenge perspectives and set the strategic tone for two days of future-focused dialogue.
Day two brings inspiration from one of South Africa’s greatest sporting icons. Akani Simbine is not only one of Africa’s fastest men, but a symbol of consistency, discipline and elite performance on the world stage. From breaking national and continental records to competing in Olympic finals, Akani’s career reflects relentless focus under pressure. Beyond the track, he’s also a university graduate who understands the power of perseverance off the field. His keynote will energise delegates with lessons on resilience, mindset and performing at your peak – exactly what today’s investment leaders need.
