Ugandan investment firm Inua Capital has made an equity investment into Flow Uganda, a tech-driven microfinancier driving financial inclusion in rural and peri-urban Uganda.
Flow Uganda empowers micro-entrepreneurs by providing credit to power the growth of their businesses.
Flow plans to expand its products and services across the continent, and scale its impact across Africa and beyond.
"At Inua Capital, we believe financial inclusion is a game-changer for socio-economic development – unlocking opportunities, creating jobs, and fostering growth from the grassroots up. It is for this reason that tech-enabled financial inclusion is a key sector for us, and our support to Flow Uganda is central to our mission of generating meaningful and sustainable socio-economic development in Uganda," the firm said in LinkedIn post.
