Ventures Platform Fund has co-led a $3 million seed round investment in Cybervergent. This marks the first investment from its Ventures Platform Pan-African Fund II (VP PAF II).
Cybervergent is a platform that automates compliance, governance, data security, and risk management across cloud and on-premise environments. It gives companies real-time visibility into their security posture, helping them identify blind spots and manage risks more effectively.
“As Africa’s digital economy grows, the need for trusted systems that secure data and ensure regulatory compliance becomes even more critical. Cybervergent is building the enterprise-grade infrastructure that makes this possible; delivering continuous, automated governance, risk, and compliance for organisations operating in highly regulated sectors,” Ventures Platform said in a statement.
“Today, the company supports hundreds of organisations across West, East, and Southern Africa with a unified control layer for managing data security, governance, and regulatory obligations in real time,” the firm added.
