VestedWord, LoftyInc, others back Emtech

Emtech Solutions Inc., a provider of central banking infrastructure, has secured $4 million in a funding round led by Matrix Partners India, complemented by participation from investors such as BTN, VestedWorld, Equity Alliance, and LoftyInc.

Emtech helps central banks test and review new financial technologies through an API-led regulatory sandbox (a safe space for experimenting with new ideas). With modern and secure tools, Emtech helps these banks navigate the growing world of fintech.

Emtech’s solutions, using something called DLT (a secure way to record transactions) and blockchain (a safe and transparent way to track information), have been adopted by the central banks of Ghana, Nigeria, and the Bahamas.
